Tape London Club
Tape London Club.
Tape London Club, opened in Hanover Square on the former Jalouse Club, has been a revolutionary addition to London’s nightlife scene. The venue is more than a nightclub. In fact, it has a recording studio, members lounge and a restaurant. The new venue is the “home” of London’s music industry. They present a unique, fresh and exciting new concept, never seen in the Capital before. Tape Club offers also the most exclusive elegant party experience among the best clubs in Mayfair. Tape London attracts an elite crowd thanks to the best sets of internationally renowned DJ’s. The creators also describe Tape London Club as ‘a central hub of creativity and celebration’.
Tape Club was inspired and designed by Grammy award winning Dallas Austin, who put his energies into several projects (Abbey Road, Tile Yard and AIR Studios) and produced also seminal records for Madonna, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Rihanna and Gwen Stefani.
Being into Tape London interior resemble to be inside a music instrument. Walking through the venue is like “walking into the brass mouth of a trombone”. Also, the walls present gilded copper effect covering. In addition, a big chandelier hangs over the stairwell, resembling the horn of a gramophone player. As you enter you won`t to miss the pendant lighting laid out in a grid pattern. On the right end of the entry there is the stunning neon-lit bar. The 250-capacity nightclub also has a fully sized stage for live acts. The room splits between two levels. The higher level is for VIP tables while the lower for guestlist tables.
There is also the DJ booth and industrial raised podiums where go-go dancers pull shapes. Also a sound system from D&B Technik hotwires the room. Great addition of Tape Club is Little Tape. This is a 150 capacity private members‘ club with a recording studio complete with a restaurant and late night licensed bar. In Little Tape there are also musical instruments available to play including a Baby Grand piano and guitars. Priceless musical memorabilia like Kurt Cobain’s jacket, a hand-written poem from Elvis Presley and one of Chuck Berry’s guitars are the best part of this collection.
Many celebrities have been at Tape Club including Rihanna, Usain Bolt, Justin Bieber, Travis Scott, Drake and many more famous Dj and singers.
Hosting days at Tape London Club.
The venue opens on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. In 2020 they launched a new night, Tape guestlist Sunday. The best way to enjoy your night at Tape London is by booking a VIP table. Tables are more expensive than other London nightclubs. In fact, starting price is £1000 any day of the week. Prices rise up to £2500 when performers are hosting. Our main night there is on Tuesday. Our team arranges guestlist entry for a selected crowd. Also, we host our guests at a table. We can arrange guestlists any other day of the week upon request. Contact Privilege Entertainment for more info!
If you wish to start your night even before getting into Tape guestlist at 11pm we would suggest to book your dinner at IT London restuarant, an Italian 5-starts restaurant in Mayfair. After Tape guestlist, if you want to keep partying till 6am our team will help you to book your guestlsit or a table at The Windmill Soho Club afterparty.
