The Wellington Club.

Residing on its ultimate new location in Jermyn Street, The Wellington Club, presents a perfectly assembled multi-functional venue. In fact, the venue, set over two floors, presents a restaurant, two bars, five private rooms and a cigar room. The Wellington Club London opened back in 1832 on its former location in Knightsbridge, just opposite the Bulgari Hotel. The original venue has a varied social history with famous appearance such us Lord Lucan, Kate Moss, Jude Law and Bono.

After a brief pause, founders Nic Brooks and Jake Panayiotou decided to continue with this project. The relocated the Wellington Club to 91 Jermyn Street. The choice of this location was not causal. In fact, it is the heart of Mayfair, the traditional center of London’s wildest revelries for centuries. Not second to mention the nightclubs who seats nearby includes Mahiki Mayfair, Monkey House, Luxx London and also Tramp members club. The founders wanted to create a grown-up, fully-formed version of the previous club, complete with all of the earlier Welly‘s naughty spirit. The Wellington was one of the most exciting members‘ clubs of the noughties and is primed to recapture and exceed its former glory.

The club restaurant presents adorned walls with hand-painted and Damien Hirst original paintings and graffiti. Those pieces of art sit alongside the artist‘s rare large-scale ‘The Hours‘ print and the infamous ‘Disco Skull‘. With the technical work of Chris Bracey, the venue also manifests all around the rock ‘n roll and neon mix.
The restaurant at The Wellington Club London serves an array of Modern European dishes, balanced with steaks and seafood carefully selected from the Club’s Executive Chef, Brett Duarte. The team also always works to innovate the menu. The aim is in fact to deliver a constantly evolving unique dining experience by using only the best available, in-season, locally sourced ingredients.
